Top Online Stock Trading Programs in 2024
1. Investors Underground
Run by Nathan Michaud, a renowned trader, IU has been in existence since 2008. It contains a vibrant online chat room where traders of all levels meet to share ideas and learn. You shouldn’t, therefore, be surprised to learn that star traders like Eric Wood and Tim Grittani attribute their success to IU.
Generally, the service focuses on three things (1)OTC trading (2)Swing trading, and (3)Momentum trading. That said, their entire crew seems to place more emphasis on momentum trading. As you might be aware, momentum trading entails identifying stocks of above-average trading volumes. This, however, should not be mistaken for scalping.
It would be correct to also say that IU focuses more on technical analysis than fundamental analysis. Some of the core strategies dished out on this platform include short-selling parabolic moves, ABCD charts, red-green trading reversals, and so forth.
Nathan and team are always keen to bring to your attention some of the great trade setups of the day. Likewise, they even show you how to trade stocks with stakes for as little as $1. In a nutshell, this is your go-to platform if you’re looking forward to a fast-paced style of trading.
Another plus with Investors Underground is that they host monthly webinars. These provide a wonderful platform for you to shoot all the tough queries that might be bugging you.
That said, we feel that IU is best suited for traders who are already familiar with the basics. Fortunately, for greenhorns that is, there’s a free IU course that’s meant to help you learn the ropes before paying up for the advanced courses.

2. Warrior Trading
WarriorTrading is one of the most sought-after stock trading training platforms available today. It is moderated by Ross Cameron who is a renowned stock trader. The platform mainly specializes in momentum trading.
They charge a monthly fee for training although one can always purchase the entire course at once. What’s more? For the doubting Thomases, Ross has included a 5-day free trial window.
That window of opportunity allows you to get an inside scoop without committing your hard-earned cash.
The backend of this program is quite well organized and neat. This is unlike other platforms that mix up everything and the learner has to figure out stuff by themselves. In fact, the simplicity of this platform might surprise you.
To give you a rough idea of how popular WarriorTrade has become, over 12,000 people search for it online every month. This is clear proof that there’s great demand for their services.
What we particularly liked about WT is that it’s based on a real-time chat room alongside trading tools and courses. There’s also a simulation program provided for those who would like to test their strategies without risking real cash. How can you beat that?
On the flipside, though, despite the platform boasting a vibrant chat room, they don’t provide an opportunity to duplicate trades. Fortunately, you can still listen in to the conversation and grab a few entry and exit strategies.
It’s no wonder the platform has been nominated twice for the Benzinga Fintech Awards. As you’d expect with a platform of its caliber, they focus on both fundamental and technical analysis. That’s the kind of diversity you need to thrive in a highly competitive trading landscape.
Besides offering premium services, this program also provides a couple of freebies. These include free trading tools such as free webinars, free strategy seminars and so forth. What’s more? WarriorTrading coupons are always readily available. So if you’d like to save a few more bucks in your subscription, you can take advantage of those.

3. Trade Ideas
Trade Ideas is best known for its use of artificial intelligence in scanning the stock markets. But did you know that they have a built-in training program as well? Yup, their training platform is available when you sign up for their market scanner.
We genuinely think that their coaches provide amazing content and that’s why we included their course on this review of best online stock trading courses.
The training is available either through their TI University Class or 1-on-1 training sessions. The university module comprises 4 different levels of learning complete with a robust selection of instructional videos. In addition, eBooks and other trading documentations are provided to help make your trading experience even more appealing.
On the downside, though, the TI University comprises archived courses. So, if you’re looking for live training, you’d need to book a 1-on-1 training. Unfortunately, this option is quite pricey as you’d need to part with a whopping $99 per hour of training.
Therefore, much as we laud Trade Ideas for their excellent stock scanner and training team, they still have a long way to go. The cost of their live training is also quite high. Fortunately, they have included some archived classes which beginners on a tight budget can take advantage of to learn.
That said, we still love the fact that their approach to training takes all different trading styles into account. Their content is presented in the form of online webinars as well as weekly stock picks. Also, there are helpful trading rooms provided. So, irrespective of your style of trading – whether day, swing or long-term – you can always find a strategy here that suits your rhythm.
Compared to the likes of Warrior Trading and Investors Underground, though, we think the TI training needs to up its training strategy. They particularly need to stop focusing too much on technical analysis. That said, we understand that the reason they emphasize on technical analysis is so they can drive up sales for their AI software, Holly.

4. Tim Sykes Trading Program
Timothy Sykes is one of the leading stock traders and trainers in the online world. He is arguably the longest-serving of the young breed of trainers who came into the limelight during the dotcom bubble.
Since 1999, he has been trading penny stocks and is never ashamed to share insights into his lavish life on social media (particularly Instagram) and even some people see that as an over-the-top marketing strategy, his training programs are among the most popular ones currently.
Tim has since set up a popular platform known as profit.ly. This is an interactive platform from where you can sign up and start accessing training, chatroom services, and weekly mentorship sessions.
The chatroom services are generally moderated by Michael Goode and that’s probably because Tim is constantly out there in the world sampling some of the exotic destinations and having fun. He, however, does show up every now and then and often shares his trading strategies to thousands of his traders.
The training itself is made up of three tiers. The first two tiers are open for all, however, the highest tier is only available to a select few and on request.
Tier 1: Tim’s Alerts – This level of training will cost you some $75 per month. It comprises daily access to the chatrooms, 5 to 10 stock watchlist, real-time alerts (email, SMS, and push alerts), iPhone and Android App access.
Tier 2: Pennystocking Silver – This is the most advanced tier from Tim that’s accessible to all. It comprises everything you’d get under Tim’s Alerts plus 4,4000+ video lessons library and weekly video lessons.
Tier 3: Trade Like Tim – Would you like to see Tim trade and simply copy his trade moves? This tier might just be all you need. It, however, is only accessible to a few and you have to make an application for you to be considered for it.

5. Investool by TD Ameritrade
TD Ameritrade has been around for several decades. They’ve built a name for themselves as a go-to platform for self-directed trading. In particular, the company runs a learning platform known as the Investool. This is an online-based class with lots of content meant to help build your confidence.
The main advantage of this platform is that it’s home to some of the world’s leading stock trading professionals. It’s, therefore, not a surprise that their lessons are pretty well laid out. They come with detailed lesson plans, quizzes and above all you’ll find final exams set aside as well.
As you progress through the training, your progress is automatically saved. What’s more? You can always take the training at any time of the day depending on your schedule. Basically, the Immersive Curriculum comprises articles, videos, and webcasts.
Some of the topics covered within this free training include fundamental analysis, portfolio management, technical analysis, and trading options. And even though that’s quite comprehensive a list, we think Investools has a long way to go in making the learning process fun.
For now, all they have is a library of helpful content. They lack trainers who are willing to make the whole learning process fun and rewarding.

6. Bulls on Wall Street
Established in 2008, this training platform is renowned for offering intensive training culminating in different styles of trading. The site was originally founded by Kunal Desal who claims to have been in this industry since 1999. In fact, in the introductory video, he claims to have started trading stocks since when he was 18.
The Bulls on Wall Street curriculum can be broken down into several components ranging from market essentials, technical analysis, and charting. Besides that, this program teaches you everything you need to do so you can select the right broker to work with.
Kunal is a highly skilled investment expert who is clearly passionate about this niche. Besides that, Kunal is keen on ensuring every trader who joins the bandwagon is able to make sense of it and earn profits fast. So, he also posts frequent trade alerts in addition to providing in-depth narrations through ScreenShare, audio, and video content.
Kunal works alongside a team of trainers and mentors who can help provide you with personalized support at every step of the way. One thing we couldn’t help but notice is that the trainers have a great sense of humor. So, apart from taking you through mountains of content, they also focus on making the whole process fun.
The only major downside noted with Bulls on Wallstreet is that they’re not really good at sending out alerts. So, this isn’t really a service you can rely on to get consistent briefs. That is a serious flaw on their part since a lot can happen in the markets in short periods of time.
Of course, that may not be a big deal for experienced traders but it’s unfortunate that they’ve not invested in this all-important feature.

7. Superman Trades
Superman Trade is a service that’s provided by Paul Scolardi. He is a close associate of Tim Sykes’ and he actually offers his training on the Profit.ly platform which is owned by Tim. But unlike Tim who prefers to spend most of his time touring the world and sharing his experiences on social media, Paul Scolardi prefers to let his results speak for themselves.
He is a hands-on trainer and much more reachable (in our view) compared to Tim. What’s more? He boasts 15 years of trading experience and that’s in addition to him being Certified Public Accountant (CPA). So, you can bet that he knows quite a few things about the FinTech markets.
However, his style of trading seems best suited for momentum traders. So, if you like the idea of jumping into the action and riding on the market movements, his style of trading would be a good one. In particular, he is quite good at providing real-time trade alerts.
This approach may not be the best fit for you if you’re busy most of the time and don’t have the time to keep up with real-time alerts. Likewise, Paul’s method wouldn’t be suited for you if you prefer the low-risk, low-reward, long-term style of trading.
What you get under the Superman Trade package is a hands-on approach to trading. Paul provides you with a 3-prong approach which comprises the use of chart pattern swing trades, scalping, and fundamental position trading.
Our favorite package among the three is the Chart Pattern Swing Trade method because it’s mainly used in identifying high-potential stocks. It’s a medium-term kind of strategy because you have to hold onto such stocks for some time until they make you some money.
Looking for some small wins? The Scalping Strategy would be a great choice. Love fundamental analysis? The Fundamental Position Trading method would be the best option to take.

Conclusion
Making money through stock trading isn’t a cake walk. However, with the mentorship and support of skilled tutors, you can gradually begin to make business sense out of the murky waters of online trading.
To this end, we’d like to zero-in on WarriorTrading and Investors Underground as the best picks overall. The two provide specialized training and are home to some of the world’s most skilled trainers. They also offer a fairly attractive blend of features as compared to all the other training courses reviewed in this write-up.
